R compound offering. However durability often refers to hardness and that is inversely proportional to max grip. But like Glenn said, and I concur, Pilot Sport Cups are probably the ultimate tire right now. The pirellis I've heard about, but I don't have enough reliable data to compare them. They are real new too. Hopefully I'll be trying the Cups and the Pirellis soon enough to figure out which is better. But you never can go wrong with a Michelin. Pirellis are great, but Michelin high end tires never dissapoint. They are soft enough but at the same time always include a great deal of feedback which is tremendously important.

So, which Formula 1 Car are you most like?
